Answer:
Decomposition Reaction: It is a reaction in which a complex compound is broken down into simpler substances by various processes.
Types of Decomposition Reactions:
Thermolytic Decomposition: Decomposition of a substance by the help of heat is called Thermolytic Decomposition.
E.g. CaCO₃ + Δ ⇒ CaO + CO₂
Photolytic Decomposition: Decomposition of a substance with the help of sunlight is called photolytic decomposition.
E.g. AgCl₂ => 2 Ag + Cl₂
Electrolytic Decomposition: Decomposition of a substance with the help of electricity is called as Electrolytic Decomposition.
E.g. NaCl ( aq ) => Na⁺ + Cl⁻

Hello
here is your answer
Decomposition reactions-----
This is the reactions in which a compound breaks down or decomposes to form two or more substances. Even we can say that it is exactly opposite to combination reactions.
Extra Knowledge----
As we know that there is only one product is formed in combination reactions. Similarly, there is only one reactant is used to form two or more products in decomposition reactions. This equation can be
represent in this type:
AB ===> A +B
Types of Decomposition reaction-
It is mainly of three types that are;
a) Decomposition by heat or thermal decomposition
b) Decomposition by electricity or electrolysis
c) Decomposition by light or photolysis.
