Steve’s backyard has dimensions 50m by 30m. In the center of his backyard, is a pool that is half the length and width of his backyard.

Answer a= 1125  he needs 45 tiles and b= 900

well  first multiply 50 by 30=1500 then multiply 25by 15 because 25 is half of 50 and 15 is half of 30 which will be 375 so now minus 1500-375=1125   then 1125 divided by 25 because 1 tile is 25 which is 45 so 45 tiles by 20.00 which is 900.00
