Stool of a person is whitish grey coloured due to malfunction of Liver. why?

u ask again i can help. the thing which gives yellow color to the stool is due to sterocobilin a derivatibe of bilirubin formed in intestine . i will explain it

the thing which gives yellow color to the stool is sterocobilin which is a derivative of bilurubin which is formed in the liver diring the breakdown of heme part of RBC. Bilutubin and biliverdin-》bile pigments are excreted from our body with bile from the gall bladder into the cystic duct. When liver does not function well, that means no pigments so no sterocobilin so white color to stool. Also fat digestion will not take place as bile is not formed. So fats not digested so color white.
