Lie is not always badThere are many types of lie. Somebody think that lie is bad and stay away from lied person. I think that most of the people lie sometimes. To lie is not always bad. Tell the true is not always good. Sometimes we have to lie to avoid dangerous or can not tell the true. For example if we have a first meet our girl friend. Unfortunate the girl is not pretty , but we do not need to tell the true even she ask. Because the true may hurt the girl. Another example that we can not tell the whole story is not considering a lie. If there is a bad guy want to harm a woman. We see the women run away. The bad guy ask if we see the women. We can not tell the true in order to help the women.Some countries have a “April fool day”. That day they lie just for fun and. Somebody dress like a ghost or make themself look ugly.  To lie may make more fun or avoid dangerous. Tell the not always make people happy. But if we always tell lie, nobody will trust us.

When Edison asked his mother what the letter said, she supposedly replied:
His mother’s eyes were tearful as she read the letter out loud to her child: Your son is a genius. This school is too small for him and doesn’t have enough good teachers for training him. Please teach him yourself.
After many, many years, after Edison’s mother died and he was now one of the greatest inventors of the century, one day he was looking through old family things. Suddenly he saw a folded paper in the corner of a drawer in a desk. He took it and opened it up. On the paper was written: Your son is addled [mentally ill]. We won’t let him come to school any more.
Edison cried for hours and then he wrote in his diary: “Thomas Alva Edison was an addled child that, by a hero mother, became the genius of the century.”


This story is an example which proves that lying is not always bad. Had Thomas' mother said him the truth about what was written in the letter , Thomas would have got discouraged. But instead his mother said that he was a genius. This appreciation gave Thomas motivation to work and strive for betterment.
