Salvatore is the important character in this story. His age was 15 and he was a son of an ordinary Fisher man.He fell in love with a girl name Grande Marina.They got engaged but dyd to its military training they cannot get married.
During military training he suffered from a terrible disease,which doctor said that he would never recover.The girls parents denied marrying their daughter to man who is unfit.after that he married to a girl who was older than him. After that he settled his family and love happily.
