Answer: The story illustrating about opportunity comes but once is explained as follows:

Explanation:

When an opportunity presents itself, we must grab it. We might not be given another chance. Therefore, we must be alert in order to spot an opportunity, grab it when it presents itself, and maximize its potential. We must be smart enough to recognize the opportunity's value and act appropriately when there are hundreds of people competing for it.

In Tenali, RAMAN was well-known for his wit and humour. However, he aspired to become extremely wealthy and a Minister in King Krishnadevaraya's court. Rajguru Thathachariar, the King's Chief, was rumored to be in the area. Raman went to meet him and brought some poetry he had composed with him. Raman impressed the Chief Minister so much that he advised him to one day decorate the King's court. RAMAN felt happy as he arrived home.

There was no word from the Rajguru for several weeks. Raman made the decision to go see the Rajguru. The Rajguru was astonished to see him and that Raman had chased him away after taking his words seriously. However, Raman was not a loser. He was only looking forward to the chance to show the King how valuable he was.

The famed magician was entertaining the King and his courtiers the following day when Raman was present at the court. The magician issued an invitation to everyone in the court to come and challenge him after the performance. No one, not even the Rajguru, came forward, making the King feel embarrassed. Raman suddenly sprang to his feet and stated that he could take on the magician. If Raman prevailed in the challenge, the King assured him with a bag of money.

Raman then started to mutter something to the guard, who quickly returned after going outside and handed Raman a bag. Raman said, I'm going to perform a feat with my eyes closed. The method requires that you keep your eyes open, though. The magician immediately nodded in agreement.

Raman immediately removed a handful of sand from the bag and covered his closed eyes. Since the magician knew he couldn't put sand inside his eyes, he promptly conceded defeat. Raman received a bag of gold from the King, who was so pleased with him that he immediately named him one of his ministers. Raman took advantage of the opportunity that came on its own and did it well.
