Language and Landforms:
- Landform is a physical description given to a particular land. They are distinguished with features such as the presence of Mountains, Sea and plains.
- Language which originates in each of this landform is distinct and is endemic to each region. Many of these languages do not have a written script and they are in the verge of extinction. Since there is no one to pass the language from one generation to the other this problem persists.
- Somehow 22 languages in India had got official status and 6 of them had got classical status due their prevalence for the long period of time and to give due respect to their texts and literary works.
