Landform is a physical description given to a particular land. They are distinguished with features such as the presence of Mountains, Sea and plains.
Language which originates in each of this landform is distinct and is endemic to each region. Many of these languages do not have a written script and they are in the verge of extinction. Since there is no one to pass the language from one generation to the other this problem persists.
Somehow 22 languages in India had got official status and 6 of them had got classical status due their prevalence for the long period of time and to give due respect to their texts and literary works.
