STORY OF MONKEY AND CROCODILE

Long years back, there was a jungle which had a big lake. Each and every animal came here to drink water. They maintained peace near the lake. The lake was just like a paradise for the animals residing in the jungle. It had trees bearing sweet fruits with fresh water.
The lake was also home to the crocodile and fish family. The monkeys loved the sweet fruits. One day the monkey went to the lake. While collecting the fruits , the monkey spotted a crocodile , the crocodile seemed to be hungry and tensed.
Monkey asked the crocodile, "What happened buddy ? You look sad and unconscious , take some tasty fruits collected by me they will cure your hunger."
Crocodile replied, "Thank you friend , you helped me a lot ! "
The crocodile asked the monkey to everyday provide him with tasty fruits. The friendship between the monkey and crocodile grew as day passed.
One day the crocodile's wife asked the crocodile, "From where do you get the tasty fruits? "
"From my friend the - monkey. He is very nice. " replied the crocodile.
The crocodile's wife pondered how did the monkey got the sweet fruits.
She started to assume that the fruit the monkey touched turned sweet so according to crocodile's wife's logic , the monkey would have a very sweet heart.
The crocodile's wife demanded that she wanted to eat the monkey's heart. The crocodile first denied but the second time he agreed. The crocodile went again to the monkey and offered him for a tour of the lake in the crocodile's back. The monkey happily agreed and went.
As they moved forward , the crocodile turned sad. Monkey asked , " What happened ? again you are sad ! shall I bring some fruits ?"
No , I am really sad because my wife wants to eat your heart could you please allow her to eat it ? " asked the crocodile.
Monkey replied," Surely I will give but unfortunately I left it at my house, could you swim back to my house ? "
Crocodile replied," Yes sure let's go! "
The crocodile swam back , the monkey jumped on the tree and started laughing on the crocodile. The crocodile was confused and asked the monkey ,"Why are you laughing on me ? "
The monkey replied,"You are the biggest fool ! well crocodiles will never be friendly! now go I will not come with you ! foolish none of the living thing could remove their heart and keep ! "
The crocodile returned back with a sad face.
Moral : One could get out of even the hardest situations with great presence of mind.
