once tennali rama saw two thieves wandering near his house. he felt sure that at time they would have some plan to enter his house. and when night arrived, he told his wife all about those thieves. so he thought of a plan. he noticed that there were thieves standing in his field. he told loudly to his wife," dear,bring all ur jewels and precious things in a wooden box,lets put it deep into the well.so that the thieves cannot Rob our house and I know.yhat they will never look.into the well." meanwhile those thieves were hearing this. aftr saying this tenali and his wife put many rocks inside the box and put deep into the well.the well was filled with water. and they went to sleep. now the thieves arrived near the well as they heard everything. one of them started to pulling pulley of the well and throwed those water on the ground.it flowed to the field directly.poor thieves!! believing rama's words they pulled water the whole night. next day morning they were seen unconscious. and now rama danced happily. He said to his wife, "I was feeling very lazy to water the fields. now I must thank those thieves for it.and those thieves r also trapped " so then the thieves were caught by the guards and rama was praised for his witty and good idea
