Once there lived a grumpy king. He never used to laugh nor allow anyone in the kingdom to laugh.
One day, a small boy couldn't control his laughter. Later, scared of the punishment, he thought of a plan. He wrote a funny story and converted it into a drama.
Then he went to the palace and asked the king, "May I present my drama to you?" the king let him do it. Then the boy started the play. In the end, he came to the funniest part of the story which made the king laugh.
All people present in the court were amazed. The king then allowed everybody to laugh. Everyone then lived happily thereafter.

Long ago there lived a King who was very grumpy. He did not laugh at all. Never! And no one in his Kingdom was allowed to laugh either. The people were forced to obey this rule. But one small boy was so cheerful by nature that he could not live without laughing. His name was Sidhartha. "What can I do?" he thought. Suddenly he got an idea. He spent all day writing a funny story and changing it into a drama. He made funny masks then went to the King. He asked the King "May I dramatize the story for you?" The King let him. He started. At last he came to the funny part of the story. He did that very well because he wanted the King to laugh and his wish came true. The King started laughing and all the Soldiers were amazed. "I never knew it is fun to laugh" the King said. He broke the rule that all should not laugh and everyone lived happily ever after all because of Sidhartha.
