A poor orphan girl worked in a rich household. She toiled the whole day . In exchange she got a meager salary and a frugal meal.
When the children of the house left merrily for school she wished she too could join them. There was not a single person in the house hold who was kind to her.
As days passed so did her ambition. She began to dream big. After the children left she would enter their room as if to clean and studied their books.
When they conversed among themselves in English she heard them carefully and slowly picked up the language.
The father of the house was a corrupt business man. He made a lot of money by unfair means. He stacked wads of notes at various places. Jewellery and gold was hidden everywhere .
After observing all the places where wealth was hidden the clever maid secretly informed the Income tax department.
When they raided the house she helped them. But she concealed some of the money from them.
Having found so much jewelry the officers were contented.
They thanked her whole heartedly and gave her a hefty reward of five lakh rupees.
All the members of the house were arrested.
After everyone left so did she but with a huge amount of money. She had mastered the money of her master and also that of the reward.
