Once there was a rich lady who was very cruel. She lived in a spacious mansion. She had plenty of servants. She treated them very badly. Even though she had a lot of money she never helpled anyone. She was very arrogant and proud of her riches
                 She fell sick and soon became blind. She called an eye specialist. The doctor examined her eyes. He did a number of tests. The lady had to live with her blindness for almost one month. She became very unhappy. She realised how sad the lives of blind people are. She came to know the difficulties they face. As she was rich the servants did all the work for her and she did not have to suffer much. But it aroused sympathy in her heart, for the blind people.

                Soon eye specialists were called from foreign countries. They set up an operation theatre in the lady's mansion. The operation was done and the lady's eyesight was restored. The lady was very happy that she could see again.

                She rewarded the doctors handsomely. She asked them to set up an eye hospital in one part of her mansion. She employed them and told them to give free treatment to all the blind patients who come there. In order to help the blind children, she set up a blind school in one part of her mansion. She appointed trained teachers to look after them. In this way she helped them to get a new light in their life.

                The lady's mansion became a source of joy and happiness for the blind. In this way she made amends for her sins and was redeemed.
