Small is big in a rural gig

Explanation:

There used to be many villagers living together in a village. They had been practicing farming for generations and it was the ancestral business of the farmers.

The villagers had never really experienced modern technology and didn't even have cell towers in their area. All they had were pay phones, that too, much far away from their village. They used to communicate via letters and post. In fact, most of the population didn't even know the basics of reading and writing. One of the villagers sent his son to study in the town. His son returned home with many presents from town and brought with him an I-phone watch. He was a big salesman in town and worked as an agent with a multinational company. He saved up enough to buy and I-watch. One time he brought the watch to the village and all the villagers saw this new form of technology in awe.

When all people gathered round and kept checking the watch as if it was magical, the son smiled and commented, "how small is big in a rural gig".
