story on two foolish goats
Answers
Answer:
Once there were two goats blackie and brownie, they were friends but they were often aggressive over each other and used to start the fight on foolish matters. And moments after a fight they were friends again every time.
They both belonged to herder who used to take them and his other goats with him in field every morning for grazing. On the way to fresh green field was a deep stream of fresh water. The goats had to cross the stream through a very thin bridge. The bridge was made by villagers by joining pieces of wood and it was so thin that only one person or a small animal could cross it at a time. Once it happened that after monsoon, the grass on the other side of bridge did not good grew more green as usual, while green, crunchy and tasty grass grew on the side just before the bridge.
As, usual, but after a week of gap because of heavy rains, the herder took his goats for grazing. The goats were habitual of eating grass after crossing the bridge. Some goats crossed the bridge, but to their surprise the grass was not good. They realized having seen fresh green grass before crossing the bridge. These goats made a U-turn, to reach the other side now and they reached the bridge. Coincidentally the goats from both sides met at the centre of bridge with blackie and brownie being on front. As two foolish goats came head to head, they grew aggressive. With each one saying that grass at the other side was greener. Thereafter a fight began between blackie and brownie, as none of the side goat could reach other side. Both the foolish goats didn't want to turn back. Seeing the fight, other goats turned back to the fields but Blackie and brownie were highly determined ones. The fight between two goats became so aggressive that the bridge began to crack. Still they paid no heed to that. They didn't stop and finally the bridge collapsed and the two foolish and aggressive goats got drowned with the flow of stream.
Moral : Excessive aggression over small things is the act of foolish ones.
