Make sure the story has a good plot (readers should find it attractive) and it should have a moral, be very specific about your fictional characters. Again, the moral is the MOST important part, without a moral your story is incoplte.
WHAT YOU SEARCH FOR IS WITHIN YOU
All that we search for is actually present within us. All we need to do is recognise and acknowledge it. One such incident happened with Damodar who lived in a village and was always unhappy.
He had a wife and two children and struggled the entire day to make the two ends meet. However, nothing could make him happy. Once he came across a rich merchant who offered him a huge amount of money in return of some work.
Damodar, being a greedy man agreed and received the sum on completion of the work. He built a house and got a good lifestyle for his family, yet he was not happy. He kept searching for happiness in the outer world and never found one.
One fine day he met a man who was totally handicapped and had nobody to call his own, yet he seemed to be so happy. Damodar, quite surprised approached the man and wanted to know the secret of his happiness.
The man gave a smile and replied, "It's there within you, look into yourself". A deep conversation with the man made Damodar realise that happiness depends on his own will. It cannot be created but needs to be discovered and cherished.
