That frog is magical. I just know it.
Arun caught it this evening while playing with Dotty. I don't know what compelled Arun to capture this particular frog. Now we had to deal with it.
I don't know if it was a curse or what, but in our family every female born inherited the ability to identify a magical being and the ability to talk to them. It started from my great great great grandmother, I think. I've lots and lots of stories about many different types of magical creature from my family.
Arun doesn't know about all of this yet because our parents think he's still really small.
Anyways I tried to convince Arun to let me see the frog, but he just wouldn't understand. I could feel a different kind of aura around the frog that's why I just wanted to ask its business with my innocent little brother.
After dinner, Mumma distracted him so I could go talk to the frog.
But once I got there I was amazed by what I saw. The frog had disappeared but in his room there were heaps and heaps of witchcraft books. I saw a note lying in the jar where the frog was.
'This boy is magical too'
Then I understood the different kind of aura was not from the frog but from our Arun.
