Story telling about round up and round down:
A short story is a section of prose fiction which usually can be read in one sitting and emphases on a self-contained series or incident of related incidents, with the aim of evoking a single mood or an effect. Rounding is a way to change a number very similar to the original number to a shorter or simpler number. The round numbers are many different ways. Rounding numbers promote working with long numbers. A number is rounded by the number you take to a nearby and cleaner number and "bump it up" or to "bump it down" number. Any place value you wish can be rounded to a number. Round up is the equivalent of the next smallest integer that is greater than that, rounding down is the equivalent of the next bigger integer, which is smaller than that. Let’s understand a short story to know how rounding numbers works.
Once upon a time there was a duck which had to cross the road. When she was confident she was free she waddled across the street. She sauntered to the corner and stared at cars and Lorries cautiously up and down the street. When a big truck popped up, she had only a waddle or two. She knew she'd have to leave the lane. What were the options of her two? The truck passes and, after looking both ways, the duck can again walk into the driveway. She gets to the other corner the most when she would not know that. On it is another giant truck. What can she do? What could she do? Now we will go back to the first corner again and give the duck a last street waddle. She's just on the other side, this time, and another truck is coming, and what should she do.
It must be noted that the duck is always chose the closest corner, and now both corners are at the same place. They agree to go to the far corner because they decided to go there anyway. We draw a number of lines on the board. We then choose to draw a new line of numbers (200-300) and then mark the center of the line. This middle point is called 250. We have several numbers on that line We take each number, one at a time, and graph it on that line of numbers, and then ascertain whether it's closer to the first, the second, or exactly in the middle. We do the same with both 1000 and 10,000. Then we do the same, pick a number and choose the many to go round it, find the halfway point and calculate the number to see where it is nearest. The end result is that we are looking for an amount which is halfway or not.
