I have one true story of my uncle and aunt regarding this theme.
That was the time,40 years ago,
Uncle-Let us abort this unwanted pregnency,how can we afford 3 children?You know our financial condition.
Aunt- However, I will manage.I can not commit this brutal sin.
Uncle-(loudly) No,this child should be aborted.
Meanwhile,my grand mother came and suggested,
Let the child come in the world.May it be a baby boy.You will have two sons. Jodi ban jayegi( then you have a pair of sons)
Uncle agreed to his mother’s view point for the sake of two sons.
But destiny gave them a girl child.Uncle was very unhappy,did not even see his baby girl.
Aunt was very depressed to look at her husband’s behaviour.How could a father be so hard hearted,did not want to see his child,only because that was a second girl child.
Later on,my uncle’s son got married. Unexpectedly,he had to face huge financial loss.He went in severe depression and tried to commit suicide.Whole family got shattered.His wife and children were awstruck in despair.
At that crucial time,his married younger sister (that unwanted girl child)helped him a lot to regain his loss but all went in vain.Then her kind husband offered her brother for business partnership with him.
My uncle felt immense shame by reminding that incident when he decided to abort that girl child.If she was not there in their miserable time,what could happened with all of them? It was the question of 6 lives’livlihood.
Everybody has to come to this conlusion:
God knows best for us.Every child has its destiny.Nobody has the right to kill that in the womb,if God is willing to give birth to that child through us.
Question arises,How a mother gets ready to abort a girl child,who herself was once a girl child!
Whoever commits this brutal sin,he or she is a dreadful killer undoubtedly.
No sympathy should be shown to such disgusting people and should be treated and punished like murderers.
The existence of human life on the earth is impossible without the equal participation of both women and men. They are equally responsible for the survival of the human race on the earth. They are also liable for the development and growth of a nation. However, the existence of the woman is for more important than men. Because without her we cannot think about our existence. So, to save humans from extinction we have to take measures to save girl child.
It’s a common practice in India where people abort or kill girl child on birth. But, they should be saved given equal opportunity, and respect and opportunity to go ahead in life. Apart from that, the fate of civilization lies in their hand as they are the root of our creation.

Although girls are ahead of boys in many fields but still people prefer a boy child. Girls have proven themselves better in every field than boys.
