She found herself transported to her favourite world of the past and saw the day when her father came home with a baby monkey. He was scared at first. But when she got up and offered a banana to him he took it from her hand. Her father made him sit on a chair.
The monkey happily ate the banana. He liked her and held her hand with his little fingers. When she wanted to get up and go he clung to her arm to take him along. So she took him to her study room.She opened her school bag and took out her books. He wanted to see what was there in the bag so he peeped into it. She was writing with a pencil, he took the pencil from her and tried to hold it like her. When she used the eraser he pulled it out of her hand and tried to bite it. She enjoyed doing the homework with him sitting next to her. Thus she got a new friend and pet.
