Story writing is an important writing skill that is included in the syllabus of class IX. It has a weightage of twelve marks and hence it is important that the story is written as per the desired guideline.
During writing a story, the following points should be borne in mind
1. Theme and plot of the story you are going to write
2. Characters in the story (It is advisable not to take too many characters)
3. Point of conflict (problem, difficulty or differences)
4. Resolution (Giving a suitable end to the story)
5 Have dialogue (one or two) spoken directly by the characters to make your story better.
