Once when I was in 8th grade and our final exams were going on I was working hard to get first rank as I got second rank on the first term exam. Everyday I used to wake up at 3am to study and during the previous day of hard subject exams I would spend sleepless nights. One day I studied well for maths exam. I am not so genius in maths cuz I make careless mistakes but this time I did the sums a lot of times that it was almost by hearted. I went to school and I reached a bit late. As usual after the assembly everyone was studying and to my shock I saw everyone studying English. And when I asked they were shocked to know I studied maths. I felt so helpless as there was only 15min left for the exam to begin. And I burst out crying but I knew it was too late and everyone was looking at me sympathetically. But then I knew that I had to pull this off and try my best cuz English was actually one of the easiest subject for me cuz the chapters and all I know so I can just write the question and answers on my own. Grammar part is just like we use grammar to speak. I was crying and studying all I could. And soon it was time for exam and I was praying to God that I get good marks cuz in our school if we get first rank percentage wise but fail in one subject our trophy and rank will go to the student with second rank so I didn't want that to happen. But my exam went well. And after writing the exam I knew I would get good marks. When the result came I stood first in my class. Like APJ Abdul Kalam said " Failure can never overtake you if you're determination to succeed is strong enough "
