Hey...I hope you like this story as it is not a story but a true incident which happened to me.
One sunny day,I was going down the road to the newly built park in my neighborhood. When I reached there, not many people were present.I saw two stray dogs nearby who were circling a bird or an injured animal.I quickly picked up a stick and rushed to help the poor creature which was lying on the ground. The dogs ran away as soon as I approached them.

On reaching there I saw an injured eagle lying on the ground. Its wing was badly cut by a kite's string(manjha).I saw that the poor bird was in great pain but it was also high on alert and was preventing anyone coming near it by attacking with its beak.I tried to pacify it by making soothing sounds. When I reached forward to pick it up it gently pecked my hand. When I didn't hurt it,the eagle let me pick it up in my arms.

I quickly walked to my house with the poor bird and as soon as I reached home I tried to call the vet but the line remained busy.So my mom who is a doctor helped me in bandaging it and then we picked it up and carried it outside in our garden. We put it down on the grass and then we went indoors to get it food and water.

The eagle remained with us for a week or so.We used to give it water and food everyday. It was a very curious creature and as soon as we approached it,it would gaze up at us in an enquiring manner. We tried to make it feel at home and prayed to God for its fast recovery.

One fine Monday morning..My mom woke me up rather early and told me to come outside and see.The eagle-our eagle-was flying in the air once again. It had come to say goodbye and thank you to us.It made some piercing noises and then flew away.

Thus I learnt an important lesson that day.Animals big or small are never dangerous unless we try to provoke them in being dangerous. If we behave well with them they will also behave well with us.
