A House On Fire

Harish was a high school boy . One day he was coming to his home. He saw some smoke coming out of a building. He went there but the street was very narrow. He also saw a child weeping and crying on the top floor. He became totally mind frustrated. Suddenly an idea came to his mind. He went to the roof of an another house which was just near the house on fire. He went to there and jumped in the burning house. He firstly pick up the child in his hands and then he asked the neighbors to help him. Fortunately the neighbors were also helping. The lady picked up the child. Harish found that the mother of child was faint. The neighbor helped him to save the lady from fire. The wife of the neighbor made a call to the fire station and the fire fighters came there.

After 2 hours the lady became concious. And the father of the kid also reached there.The house was almost burnt but both the lives were saved. The owner of the house helped Harish and his neighbours. Later he asked Harish that why he did that. Harish said,"For Humanity."

Moral : We cannot despair of humanity, since we ourselves are human beings.

Harish's Great Efforts

It were the days of holidays. Children were full with happiness and joy and why not , they were playing here and there on the playing grounds.

Harish , a boy of around 12-13 years , too , with his friends was playing on the ground. He was little weak so he was tired by playing, so he told his friends that he will go home . Without wasting the time , Harish walked towards his home.

As Harish was tired , he ran towards the home to rest and drink some water. And guess what ! He saw some smoke coming out of a building's top floor. He was shocked to see such thing. He tried to go inside the building. He was hesitating. He went there though the street was very narrow.

Guess what! The lift of the building was out of order. He quickly ran upwards through the stairs. There was no one out there to help him.
He , without being panic-stricken ,went upside .
He opened the door , he saw a child lying on the floor and crying loudly. His heart beats were choking him.

But his courage was brilliant. He didn't hesitated and saw the smoke coming out of the kitchen.He quickly went inside and saw that the gas was leaked. He knew how to stop the leakage of the gas as he had learnt this from his father. He turned off the gas and stopped the leakage. He opened other windows and took the child out .

Today,Harish had done a life saving effort. He saved the life of that child. After some time , there arrived the child's mother who left her child alone at home. She was ashamed by mistaking. She thanked Harish.

Harish's great efforts were spread all over the town . He got National Bravery Award due to his Bravery and great efforts.
