The structure of RNA :
*It is single stranded.
*It contains ribose sugar.
*It is the unit of heredity of prokaryotic cell and lies in cytoplasm in a scattered form.
*In place of thymine it has uracil.
Function :
*It serves as a unit of heredity in prokaryotic cells.
*It helps in protein synthesis.
Central dogma of protein synthesis(additional information) :
DNA is converted into mRNA by the process of transcription and then it changes into protein(hormones or enzyme)by the process of translation and results in biological action.
