The Peninsular elevation is a tableland. It is comprised of the old crystalline, volcanic and metamorphic rocks. The Peninsular plateau is contemplated as the magnificent land mass as it was created due to the drifting of the Gondwana land. The plateau comprises of wide and superficial valleys and shaped hills
Main features of the Peninsular Plateau :
(i) The peninsular plateau has large sediments of mineral, metallic and energy sources.
(ii) The northwestern portion of it has productive black soil.
