$Cost \:of \: each \: student\: would \:have \\decreased\: by \:Rs\:3$

$Cost \: of \:each \: student \:become = (480-3)\\= Rs \:477$

$Total \: amount = 477( x + 3 )$

$\implies 480x = 477( x + 3 )$

$\implies 480x = 477x + 1431$

$\implies 480x - 477x = 1431$

$\implies 3x = 1431$

$\implies x = \frac{1431}{3}$

$\implies x =Rs \: 477$

Therefore.,
