Given :

  • Number of students in class IV = 456
  • Number of students in class V = 321
  • Number of students in class VI = 400

To find :

  • Total number of students going out for picnic.

Solution :

  • Class IV = 456 students
  • Class V = 321 students
  • Class VI = 400 students

Total number of students = No. of students in class IV + No. of students in class V + No. of students in class VI

→ Total number = 456 + 321 + 400

→ Total number = 1177 students

Therefore, the total number of students going out to picnic are 1177 .
