1. (a) In geometry, the area can be defined as the space occupied by a flat shape or the surface of an object. The area of a figure is the number of unit squares that cover the surface of a closed figure.

Sub multiples....

Deci =1/10

Centi=1/100

2. Consider that the Area (A) and Breadth (B) of the Rectangle is given.

Then for Finding the Length ,ie, "L" of the Rectangle, We should equate the length and breadth to the Area of the Rectangle

using the Formula:

A = Lx B

On Solving the above equation , we get the Length of the Rectangle.
