THE STATEMENTS 3 AND 4 ARE CORRECT

in statements 1 blue litmus turns red in ACIDIC medium as it remains blue in basic medium

in statement 2 red litmus turns blue in BASIC medium and not acidic as it remains red in acidic.

Answer: both 3rd and 4th

Explanation: Dude ok now let me guess, you are in Sri Chaitanya and have attempted COT - 1 (or) OT - 3 and in RankGuru or whatever app you are using the answer came as only the 3rd statement is correct. LOL, this was even my condition. Ok now coming to the answer, if we use basic sense in this question then we will get the answer as both the statements which are 3rd and 4th because they are literally the same as when we add acid and base we get a neutralization reaction which gives no effect on litmus paper. I have even contacted my Chemistry Ma'am and even she told me that what they gave in RankGuru was wrong. So you can add one mark to the marks you got. I got 45 out of 50 so I can assume that I got 46. Have a happy day and tell your marks in the comments (if it is there because I don't think it is).
