Nah. People say get a time table and other useless stuff. I studied only like 2 days before exam and did ULike and scored 9.4CGPA
If you study Let's stay somewhat more regularly than 2 days for a whole year of syllabus you can score a 10 easily.

Class 10th students need to keep these things in mind-
- Never underestimate NCERT. Always finish the chapters from it first and then only move on.
- Do not overload yourself with the burden of too many reference books. Only refer to NCERT for concept-building.
- Practice a lot of questions through question bank. You can choose between Xamidea or Educart question bank (it provides numerous new types of questions per chapter that are of the same difficulty level as the CBSE board exam. And the solutions are given step-wise and with an explanation even for MCQs).
- Solve sample papers to test yourself during the last few months.
- Practice writing answers according to the subject. For example, write short paragraphs for english but points for science.
- Revise regularly.
