(x-1)(x+1)(x-2) = x²+x-x-1 ( x-2 ) = x²-1 ( x-2 ) = x³- 2 x² - x +2......Since the largest power is 3 , therefore the degree of the polynomial is 3 , hence it is a cubic polynomial....
