Think about it, the mirror image of Iris is just like her she acts pretty much like the real one around Barry. Bloodwork is different, he changes people so when Barry was infected by bloodwork he wasn't acting like himself you could see that even his lightnings colour changed. He acted different from the way he usually does and didn't try to deny it. But every time Iris does something wrong and Barry talks to her about it she gets an acceptable excuse
