Answer:-

The Fractional part of money left with Subbu for other expenses is x/6.

Explanation :-

Given :

Money spent on rent => 1/3 of x = x/3

Money spent on food => 2/5 of x = 2x/5

Money spent on monthly usuals => 1/10 of x = x/10

To find :

Fractional parts of earnings left with Subbu for other expenses.

Solution :

Let the total money be x

Therefore, Total money spent on rent, food and monthly usuals :-

  = \dfrac{x}{3}  +  \dfrac{2x}{5}  +  \dfrac{x}{10}

 =  \dfrac{10x +12x + 3x }{30}

 =  \dfrac{25x}{30}

 =  \dfrac{5x}{6}

Therefore, the total Fractional part of money spent is 5x/6.

Now, Earnings left :-

 = x -  \dfrac{5x}{6}

 =  \dfrac{x}{1}  -  \dfrac{5x}{6}

 =  \dfrac{6x - 5x}{6}

 =  \dfrac{x}{6}

Hence, The Fractional part of the earnings left is x/6 respectively.
