(i) Yes, Subhash is correct in his approach.

 Prelocation of water under the ground by collection of rain water and it thus helps in recharging of the ground water. This process of saving rain water is known as Rain water harvesting. Rain-water is very helpful as the stored rain-water doesn’t evaporate and also doesn’t promote the mosquito breeding. The rain-water harvesting helps in recharging of wells and it remains pure as it is not affected by contamination by human and animal waste.
