PREDICATE - predicate is a part of a sentence that includes the verb and verb phrase.
EX- the boys went to the zoo-- here ' went to the zoo ' is the predicate.
SUBJECT- the subject of a complete sentence is who or what the sentence is about,
EX- the dog ran after the cat -- here ' dog ' is the subject.
