1) Taj Mahal
Constructed by Shah Jahan from 1631-1648.
It is known as jewel of Muslim Art.
Constructed on the banks of river Yamuna in Agra (Uttar Pradesh) It is made with pure marble and is surrounded by gardens, fountains and pools.
2) Red Fort
It was also constructed by Shah Jahan.
It is spread over mammoth 255 acres of land in the City of Delhi .
Its walls are made from red stone.
It is stll used by the central government on Independence Day, Republic Day and other events.
