Substitutinal method 2x+3y=18 & x-2y=2

Hey there !!
Here is your answer.

x-2y=2 => x=2+2y
Now substituting x value in second equation ,
2x + 3y = 18
=> 2 (2+2y) + 3y = 18
=> 4+4y+3y = 18
=> 4+7y = 18
=> 7y = 18 - 4
=> y = 14÷7 =2.

Now putting y value in first equation ,
x = 2y + 2
=2*2+2
=6.

Therefore, y=2 , x=6..
