Answer:

2x+y=6 first equation

4x+y=6 second equation

from 1st equation

2x=6-y

now,putting the value of x in 2nd equation

4(6-y)+y=6

24-4y+y=6

-3y=6-24

-3y= -18

Y= 18/3

Y= 6

now putting the value of y in 1st eq.

2x+y=6

2x+6=6

2x= -6+6

2x=0

x=2
