Hii friend,

X + Y= 3........(1)

And,

4X - 3Y = 26.......(2)

From equation 1 we get,

X + Y = 3

X = 3-Y ........(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

4X - 3Y = 26

4 × (3-Y) -3Y = 26

12-4Y -3Y = 26

-7Y = 26-12

-7Y = 14

Y = 14/-7 => -2

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = 3-Y

X => 3-(-2) => 3+2 => 5

Hence,

X = 5 and Y = -2.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... :-)
