To find ⇒ Subtract -2-7 on a number line

\large\mapsto\boxed{\sf\blue{Solution}}

We, know that - and - is +

So , - 2 -7  = -9

- 2 - 7 \\=  -9 \\

But to get -9 on the number line Follow these steps:-

  1. First make a number line (Note:- In the right side of the number line there should be positive numbers and in the left side negative number)
  2. Then mark -2 and -7 specially
  3. We know that we have to add -2 and -7
  4. Take a point from -7 and move towards left side 2 times
  5. Then, you will reach on -9

Hope it helps!!
