Subtract (4x − 3y) from the sum of (12x + 9y) and (−2y).

Sum :-

(12x+9y)+(-2y)
12x+9y-2y
12x+7y

Subtraction :-

12x+7y-4x-3x
12x-4x+7y-3y
8x+4y

Here is your answer,

Sum = ( 12x + 9y ) + (-2y)
= 12x + 9y -2y
= 12x +7y

Difference = (12x+ 7y) - (4x -3y)
=12x +7y -4x +3y
=8x + 4y
