Hey

6 {a}^{2} b - ( - {a}^{2} b) \\ = 6 {a}^{2} b + {a}^{2} b \\ = 7 {a}^{2} b
Hope it helps to you.

Subtracting ( - a²b ) from 6a²b,

We get

6a²b - ( -a²b )

= 6a²b + a²b

= 7a²b
