Subtract the second polynomial from the first polynomial and find the degree of the resultant polynomial.
(i) p(x)= 7x2+6x-1 q(x)=6x-9
(ii) f(y) = 6y2-7y+2 g(y)=7y+y3
(iii) f(z)=z5-6z4+z f(z)=6z2+10z-7

1)p(x) = 7 {x}^{2} + 6x - 1 \\ q(x) = 6x - 9 \\ p(x) - q(x)= 7 {x}^{2} + 6x - 1 - 6x + 9 \\ = 7 {x}^{2} + 8 \\ degree = 2 \\
2)f(x) - g(y) = 6 {y}^{2} - 7y + 2 - 7y - {y}^{3} \\ = - {y}^{3} + 6 {y}^{2} - 14y + 2 \\ degree \: 3
f(z) - f(z) = {z}^{5} - 6 {z}^{4} + z - 6 {z}^{2} - 10z + 7 \\ = {z}^{5} - 6 {z}^{4} - 6 {z}^{2} - 9z + 7 \\ degree \: 5
