according \: to \: question \\   ({ - 1}^{3} ) -  ({2}^{2})  =  - 1 - 4 =  - 5

Answer:

Square of 2 i.e

 {2}^{2}

Cube of -1 is

 { - 1}^{3}

So now ,

2 square = 4

-1 cube = -1

Therefore ,

4 -(-1)

= 4 + 1

= 5
