1/4 - (-3/8) = 2/8-(-3/8)

= -1/8

-3/8-(-2/7) = -21/56 - ( - 16/56)

= -21+16/56

= -5/56

Additive inverse of -5/56 = 5/56

required answer = 5/56-(-1/8)

= 5-(-7)/56

= 12/56 = 3/14
