 \frac{11}{12  }   + ( -  \frac{5}{6} ) \\  \\  \frac{11 - 10}{12 }   =  \frac{1}{12} \\  \\ 2 -  \frac{1}{12}  =  \frac{23}{12}

=11/12-5/6
= 11-10/12
= 1/12
= 2-1/12
= 23/12
