✒5/2=15/6 ; 2/3=4/6
✒15-4/6
✒11/6
✒1*5/6
- First find the L.C.M. of both numbers denominator.
- Then accordingly multiply their multiples with both.
- Now do the same in numerator too.
- Now when the denominators are same we just need to subtract the numerators i.e., 15-4
- On subtraction it gave 11/6.
- Now this fraction is not a proper fraction.
- Hence , to change it to a prooer fraction we need to divide the numerator from the denominator.
- On division the quotient is written as the whole number part and the remainder is written in numerator.
- The denominator remains the same.
