I will explain with an example
consider 1100-111
1 1 0 0
-0 1 1 1
------------
1's complement of second term is 1 000
we will get 2's complement by adding one to 2's complement
so 2' complement will be
1 0 0 0+1=1111
adding the 2's complement to the first term
1 1 0 0
+1 0 0 1
…..............
0 1 0 1
and we neglect the carry..
hope this is helpful to you. :)
