Answer: Viru present age = 10 year's

Step by step explanation:

Let Viru 's present age = x years

Sudhir's present age = (5 + 3x) years

Anil's present age = (5 + 3x)/2 years

▪️ Ratio of the sum of Sudhir's and Viru's age to three times Anil's age is 5 : 6 ▪️

=> (5 + 3x + x)/3(5 + 3x)/2 = 5/6

=> 2(5 + 4x)/3(5 + 3x) = 5/6

=> 12(5 + 4x) = 15(5 + 3x)

=> 4(5 + 4x) = 5(5 + 3x)

=> 20 + 16x = 25 + 15x

=> x = 5

Age of sudhir = 3x+5

=> 3 × 5 + 5
=> 20 year's

Anil = 3x+2/2

Anil = 3 × 5 + 5
=> 20/2

=> 10 year's

Hence, Viru present age is 10 year's.

 \bold{\huge{\underline{\underline{Answer\::-}}}}

♦ Given

• Age of Sudhir is 5 years more than 3 times age of Viru and Anils age is half of Sudhir

• Sum of Age of Sudhir and Viru : 3 times age of Anil

= 5:6

♦ Solution

• Let The age of Viru be = x

• Then age of

>> Sudhir = 3x + 5

>> Anil =  \bold{\dfrac{3x + 5}{2}}

• Then Sum of ages of Viru and Sudhir

= (3x + 5) + x

= 4x + 5

• Three times of Anil's age

=  3 \times \bold{\dfrac{3x + 5}{2}}

=  \bold{\dfrac{9x + 15}{2}}

• Then Ratio Sum of Age of Sudhir and Viru : 3 times age of Anil

 \implies 4x + 5 :  \bold{\dfrac{9x + 15}{2}} = 5 : 6

 \implies 2(4x + 5) : 9x + 15 = 5 : 6

 \implies 8x + 10 : 9x + 15 = 5 : 6

 \implies \dfrac{8x + 10}{9x + 15 } = \dfrac{5}{6}

• By cross multiplication

 \implies (8x + 10 ) \times 6  = 5 \times (9x + 15 )

 \implies 48x + 60 = 45x + 75

• By organization of data

 \implies 48x - 45x  =  75 - 60

 \implies 3x  =  15

 \implies x = \dfrac{15}{3}

 \implies x = 5

♦ So age of Viru = 5 years

♦Then age of

>> Sudhir = 3x + 5

= 3(5) + 5

= 15 + 5

= 20 years

>> Anil =  \bold{\dfrac{3x + 5}{2}}

=  \bold{\dfrac{3(5) + 5}{2}}

=  \bold{\dfrac{15 + 5}{2}}

=  \bold{\dfrac{20}{2}}

=  \bold {10} years
