we can take their nutrition. it engulfs the food particle and then it uses for digetion absorption and finally egest out.

Amoeba moves towards food and tends to aggregate and moderate warm water. Amoeba and other protozoa avoid mechanical obstacles. Thus, unicellular organisms respond to stimuli. Roots of plants move downward in response to gravitational force and shoots of plants move towards light. This shows that plant respond to stimuli.
